Disposing Method of Fusion Splicer Cannot Discharge

Fusion splicer failure: Discharge connection, the use of factory settings (1 ~ 5) discharge procedures are not available, the overall too large or too small.
Solution:
This is due to the aging of the electrode, the relative position of the fiber and arc changes or changes in the operating environment due to a larger. Respectively, as follows:
1. The aging of the electrode. Check electrode tip for damage, if not, perform “clean electrode” operation. If the tip of the electrode is damaged, refer to <Maintenance and Repair> to replace the electrode.
2. Fusion splicer and arc relative position changes. If the optical fiber is not in the middle of the electric field, it can be operated several times, and then the relative position of the optical fiber and the arc can be observed to see if the position of the optical fiber is opposite to the arc position. If the same is stable position.
3. The operating environment has changed significantly. The process is as follows:
<1> Discharge test, until three to five consecutive “discharge current is moderate.”
<2> Enter the discharge parameter menu, check the discharge current value.
<3> The overall translation current is set so that the “welding current” value is “138 (0.1 mA)”.
<4> Press the “Parameter” key to return to the menu level.
<5> Take the current shift amount in 3> and modify the value of “current deviation” in the opposite direction.
<6> Press the “OK” button to save the settings.
<7> Press the “Parameter” key to exit the menu.
