Problems when multimode fiber is connected

When multimode fiber is connected, there is always a bubble in the discharge process

Solution:
This is mainly because of multimode fiber core refractive index is large, the specific process is as follows:
1> Set the multimode discharge program as a template (set the value of “Discharge program” to less than “5” and confirm.
2> discharge test, until the emergence of three “discharge current is moderate.”
3> for multimode fiber connection, if the bubble is still so need to modify the discharge parameters,

The modify process is as follows:
1> Go to Discharge Parameters menu.
2> Increase the “pre-fusing time” value in 0.1s steps.
3> Connect the optical fiber, if still bubbles continue to increase the value of “pre-melting time” value, until the bubble is not connected (the premise is that the quality of the fiber meet the requirements.)
4> If the connection process does not blister and thinning of the fiber required to reduce the “pre-melting current.”
